Hi,
No, I don’t have any other calling systems on my phone.
This is quite concerning to me though.

Do you have any other calling systems on your phone like teams or Google voice? He can put entries into your call history, and usually they are indicated in the field after the number of calls and before the date of the call.Sent from my iPhoneOn Apr 24, 2024, at 7:23 PM, janet gross wrote:
Hi,
This particular phone number is to a Sheriff’s Office.
I never made the call.
This has been happening for at least over a year.
There has been several many other numbers as well.
I very seldom find any names connected to the numbers I search.

Even if that would be the case, such calls would not show up in the Recent call

What sort of numbers are they? It's easy to look up an area code to see where

I liked Richard’s Chat AI for the few searches I did before the free trial ran

that VoiceOver naturally spoke without non-stop reading out of the answer.

If Direct Touch is actually on, when the 7 Little Words app is opened voiceover

the screen. If Direct Touch is Not turned on there will not be any response

Richard,
Because someone might have my phone number, they can make calls from my phone?
If that is the case, wouldn’t they have to do that through the Apple iCloud?

That is very strange. It almost sounds like someone else also has your phone number. It might get to the point that you might have to have them change your number. But, I know that is beyond a royal pain. Richard, USA“Grandma always told us, “Be careful when you pray for patience. God stores it on
Hi Richard,
I did do the search, and that number is to a Sheriff's Office.
I just don't know how all this is happening.
A couple of weeks ago, this same thing happened, and I was still sleeping at
that time.

Hi Genn,
T-Mobile said if someone is doing this with my phone, it is coming from the
Apple iCloud, but Apple says that can’t happen!

Call T-Mobile and ask them if anyone is spoofing your number. What that means
is someone has your number and is somehow making calls from it to other people
trying to make money. I hope this helps a little bit.

Hi Flor,
That's exactly what I did, double tapped the Update All option. I was then
prompted for the password, and 3 more times during the process and because
there were 16 updates, I now see why I was prompted 4 times in total as per
your explanation. Thanks mooy moocho.
Take care. Mike.
Hi Kenny,
That's exactly what I did, but when it said update 16 available, I double
tapped that, and I was asked for my password, then subsequently 3 more times
after that during the downloading / installation process.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go Dodgers!

Choose the 'Update All' option as another member has suggested.
For individual updates, or for using Touch ID in general, Apple - for
sercurity reasons, after the limit of four uses has been reached -
requests that you input your Passcode (or your password) again to renew
your touch ID count.
