Thanks, Greg. I found it by going to the sidebar, clicking Advanced Issues,

Hello, Anouk. I too have noticed the sluggish bluetooth connection with the
Brailliant BI 40, running IOS 10 on an iPhone 6. I called Humanware about
it, and they told me it's an issue with the operating system, which I doubt.
I got a chance to try a Brailliant BI 32 on an iPhone 7 last night, a

I can't shed any light on this, but I can confirm that is a problem I am

Hi, Ed, and thanks. I use Twitterific and love it. The only thing I like
better about the native Twitter app is that you can go to the Notifications
tab and see who has liked, favorited, and retweeted your tweets.
Is there a way to do this in Twitterific?

Hi, all, and thanks for the great suggestions. Robin, I believe you hit the
proverbial nail on the head. I'm removing my location. Not expecting storms now
for over a week, but I'm betting it's fixed the next time we have alerts. Thanks

I decided to download Mint. It is usable, though it seems to have each item

Speaking of the texting abbreviations, I had a very humorous experience a
while back that I shall relate. And by the way, I'm in my late 50's.
A lady close to my age was sending me text messages, and Voiceover would
read the beginning of the messages as, "Hi, Grams".

There is a free program called Battery Doctor. It is a bit challenging to
use with Voiceover, but it can be done. It cleans up junk files and cleans
up your battery's memory. I have been able to use it very successfully on
my iPhone 6.

I just got an iPhone 6 on Saturday. I had not noticed this problem with my

I had begun to think this might be a problem with my phone. I'm really glad
I am also wondering if VoiceDream books can be backed up to, and restored

Hi, Kim. There has just been a new firmware update for the Brailliant
released in the past month or so which makes it much easier to type in
Braille on the IOS device. If you do not know how to update the firmware,
let me know off-list and I will help.

While dictation is not specifically required, the amount of work to be done

I have talked with a distributor about this issue, and it is definitely a
Humanware issue. They really need to address this soon. I notice that it
happens more when writing in Braille than when reading in Braille, but it
does happen in both situations.
