directions. In disgust I deleted the app and reinstalled it.
It works like a charm now. One secret I found is to download really large files
on Sunday mornings.

I just updated to 7.03. and just as the Info Section stated, the over
sensitivity of Voice Over has been fixed. I can now put the phone in my shirt
pocket, screen facing me, and it doesn't go bonkers.

If your trying to get around in an area with no roads, try Ariadne. GPS. You
have to make your own points of interest . It also is a great way of orienting
yourself to the greater world. Distances are as the crow flies, so it's not a

You can always delete the ones you don't use. I tunes remembers the ones you

There was talk of someone working on an app but I have not heard anything about
it lately. As for regular GPS, remember, your device is receiving radio signals
from satellites hundreds of miles overhead. If your device cannot see the
satellites there is no signal, and therefore, no GPS.
