6 Plus reception?

A friend of mine just got his iPhone 6 Plus. He kept his plan from AT&T Wireless. While on the iPhone in his house he's getting bad reception where the phone call drops out. It was much better with his 5S. Is this a known problem with the 6 Plus or should he exchange for another 6 Plus? ---

Hi Tom, the 6 Plus supports all the same frequencies as the 5s, and then a lot more. So something's not right somewhere. Perhaps it's a temporary cell site outage, or yes it could be faulty hardware. It would be worth your friend raising the issue I think. Jonathan Mosen Mosen Consulting Blindne

Speaking of horrible cell spots, have any of you tried these cell boosters which basically pick up a better signal, usually outside the building, and rebroadcast it inside? I really need to fix my 1 or 0 bar signal situation here at the house. I'm in a modern subdivision at almost the highest

yep I'm currently playing with a VOIP app called Fongo. That does work via WIFI, but doesn't get around the fact that I'm paying a large cell provider a lot of money for very little in return. (grin) For other Canadians in this situation, you can find out more about Fongo at: http://www.fongo.c
