Hello Martijn,
First let me say what a fantastic app Talking Goggles is.
I e-mailed one of your colleagues about localising Talking Goggles into other
languages but I haven't had any response.
I have a discussion list for French-speaking visually-impaired users of Apple
products and many of th
We are adding barcode reading to Talking Goggles as well. But Talking
Goggles reads many more products that do not have a barcode, either by
recognizing their image or by reading the description on the package with

Hi Annie,
I too got this app this morning after reading of your success. Here in
Ireland we are challenged re databases and barcodes. I find this "Best Barcode
Scanner" to be fast and much more flexible as to sourcing databases. Plus, with
one of my scans, I found one of the sources to be "
Hello Annie,
I got the QR Code app this morning and I'm very impressed. It's easy to use and
recognises slightly unusual products here in France.

Hello.

Best barcode scanner from simpleact inc. It searches for the barcodes on google.
Readlaser is also a great app, but you are right it is not having man
Hi,
I'm in the US and for me, red laser works great. True, it is very helpful to
have a general idea where the barcode is on the product you are scanning.
On the red laser app, there are 5 buttons along the bottom. The button in the
middle, almost just above the home button is scan. When the
Hello Maria,
I don't know where you are, but here in France, Red Laser is next to useless. I
can find bar codes but they don't appear to be in any of its databases.
Digit-Eyes, on the other hand, is great.
The button to scan in Red Laser appears to be labelled Bolt.
Cheers,
Anne

Hi list,
I have installed Redlaser app, but I don't know how to use it.
I cannot find scan button or whatever it is called.
Please does anyone know how to use this app or do you know any other
apps for scaning barcodes?
I know it has been discussed a lot in the list, but I did not pay much
