When reading your message Arnold, before hitting reply, just reading, I turned
the rotor to Text Selection, flicked down to line, flick right, then turned to
edit and copied this:

Hi Richard. I enabled text selection in the roter, and it is indeed
their, but I must not be selecting text correctly, because even if I
choose select all, when I go back to edit, there is still no options, as
in copy and paste! HELP!

You should have an option called text selection on the rotor. If you do not,
then go into the rotor settings and select it so it shows up.
Then, you can more easily select text, then you will find the copy option under
edit.
