When reading your message Arnold, before hitting reply, just reading, I turned the rotor to Text Selection, flicked down to line, flick right, then turned to edit and copied this: When focused on the text from which you want to select something, as long as the word edit appears in the rotor, then text selection will work. What I was explaining was how, sometimes, one can make edit appear in the rotor when it initially is not there.
* Edit was not there before I selected the above. Edit only appears after you have use text selection to select your text, or, of course, if you are in an editable field. What I want to make sure is clear, is that you do not have to be where you can edit in order to select text.
