I just discovered a work around for the Bible app.
Find the first verse, and start VoiceOver reading with the 2 finger swipe down,
I just tried this with three verses, so it may take some experimenting: but

I wrote yesterday, hoping somebody could help me use the YouVersion or Bible
Gateway APPS, since somebody said last week that YouVersion's a better APP. I
want to be able to copy texts and insert them in documents using VoiceDream
Writer. Apparently, this is not possible.
