Pictures are not the only thing that can be transferred. I backed up my
contacts on it.

I read that the purpose of this device was to easily move pictures too and from
your device.
No other file types can be transferred. Maybe Ryan can clarify this.

When I tried the software, I don't think it allowed me to copy to other apps. I
don't remember hearing the option to open in like I do in other apps.
