The StandScan is great for documents that lie flat, but there is nothing to
compare with the Fopydo plus Book Reading Aid for reading books. Also, the
Fopydo sits firmly on my lap whereas the StandScan needs a flat surface to be
stable.

I’ve just finished reading a novel with the Fopydo stand and Book Reading Aid
using KNFBReader and it’s brilliant! I’ve been able to sit with the stand on my
lap and read comfortably. This is the best Book reading solution I’ve ever
found.
