Contacts? If you are, then I don't believe the iPhone field will show up
since Google doesn't support that. In the past for me it used to get
switched to the field called Other. Since I don't use iMessages I don't
bother
Hello. I have a friend that has an iPhone 3GS. I'm wondering if they can send
iMessages? Every time I try to send a message to them, it turns out to be text.
Unfortunately, I do not have a texting plan, and it is important that I get a
hold of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok all to reliably send iMessages make sure the contact's number is in
the iPhone field and not anywhere else. Did this to all my iOS contacts

Subject: iPhone field in contacts, was IPhone 3GS and iMessages
Hello,
I have heard people refer to this mysterious iPhone field before. Where
is
this supposed to be, I certainly don't seem to have it when I add or edit
a
contact. If I double tap let's say
Hi Tom and Kerry,
Well, I guess you have something on your iPhones which I don't have because
there is no iPhone label on my phone when I do this. As I pointed out in my
initial post, the following 10 labels are the only ones that show up when I
do this:
Mobile
Home
Work
Home Fax
Work Fax
Pager
Just want to throw in one quick thing: if you go down to the bottom of
the screen and find the add field button, you will find a long list
of fields that don't show up by default when entering contact
information. Such things as assistant's name, assistant's tel,
birthday, home fax, work fax,
