I hadn't seen this before, perhaps because my phone doesn't usually run out of
power without my noticing. Anyway, it did and we heard the announcement
"IPhone shutting down"! I connected it to the power and without a couple of
minutes I heard it reboot - all without any interaction on my part,
Carol, out of curiosity, how far did the battery go down before the
phone anounced that it was shutting down? Just wondering what your
percentage was.

They've always booted when put to power when off.
At least, I've not known them not do.
I started with 3GS of course.
