Hi,
Are there problems with the PBS app on AppleTV 4th gen? I'm having a tough
time, but it works fine for my sighted daughter when VoiceOver is off. Just
wondering if it's me or the app.
I can get around within the app, but fine control seems difficult, and items

Thanks, Mary. I’m hoping to get access to the usual AD, but I can glean most of

Hi,
I'm starting to watch the new Ken Burns series on Vietnam. There are a number
of interviews with Vietnamese which I'm sure are captioned. Wondering if these
may be available via Audio Description. I don't hear any AD, but thought I'd
check here to see if perhaps I'm missing it, although I'm
shows available through the PBS app?
Hi,
I’m thinking about getting Apple TV.
Our local PBS station said PBS shows are available through the PBS appp on the

Many PBS shows are audio described, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an audio

there are audio described PBS shows for viewing and
listening on the PBS app within Apple TV?
Thanks, Keith

Ok, I think the US Public Broadcasting System app could use some accessibility
fixes. Video controls are really not accessible. Tapping random bits of the
screen with Voiceover off is not the best solution. I want to write to the devs
about this. I already used the report video problems form, b
It seems that the PBS app is less than fully accessible. Four instance, there
does not seem to be a way to switch between different channels in your area to
see the different schedules. There is a graphic you must tap on, and voiceover
does not see his graphic. Has anyone found a workaround? I

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with the PBS app. It appears to be
mostly accessible, but I did have difficulty lcating the sign in button to
watch past programming. Is there a work around?

Thanks; that worked. I'm curious; how did you find out about that? It doesn't
seem like the most intuitive thing in the world for a VO user to stumble across.

You have to turn voiceover off, then tap in the middle of the screen.

Hi, all,
Sorry if this got posted twice. I didn't see it the first time I posted.
I find no buttons or links for playing videos in the PBS US public television
ap. Am I missing something? There used to be a large button that said "play
video".
Thanks,
Teresa

The first page which is the spotlight tab is on a continous refresh. This area

I just downloaded it this afternoon and when I opened it it keeps acting
like it is downloading something but it just keeps doing it. Does it take
that long for the app to open up? It is on the spotlight heading.
