Yeah, it takes a moment to populate those fields. Two things to try here. 1.
Try tapping on the fields, or 2. Try switching from day view to week view.

Hi,
It does, mine is working here, but I am not exactly sure what I did. Try adding
stteps to the dashboard of the health app and I think that should get it
counting your steps.
If this doesn't work, let me know and I will investigate further.

I had heard that iOS 8 had a pedometer app built into it. I went into the
Health app and found the Steps section of that but I've been unable to
figure out how to get it to track my steps. All I can see is a place to
manually enter my steps which is not what I'm looking for.
