I went in to general accessibility and then in to voice over and braille
settings and turned on show on-screen keyboard. That fixed my issue for
now.

double tap and hold in the edit field and this should then bring up the
on-screen keyboard. Do the same again to hide it.

I have recently purchased a Bluetooth keyboard, the Logitek k380 I think it is.
It's great, I love typing on it when I have the space for it. However, I've
noticed a very annoying thing happens when I don't have the keyboard with me. I
