message that the information did not go through, or that my log-in was

There is no way to manage calls natively on iOS. What these apps would
do is employ another method (i.e. giving you a new phone number,
instructing you to forward calls to a specific number, and so on) to
make it work. As tempting as any free or paid "call manager" app
sounds, it cannot be done nat
