used the DVR function. It is accessible to me. I cannot say anything about the
iPad though because I don't have one.

I find that the app works great
As for the genie the installers couldnt get it to talk we called tech support
and they couldnt find the assistant so they are replacing the genie

Yes, you can use the iPad Directv App as a remote. Well, at least I have

One can't simply copy and or send apps to their friends and such. Remember
that when one installs an app one is asked to enter their user name and
password. I think it is at this point that the app is locked to your device.

installers are...some aren’t ...I would make sure when ordering it that you
