My husband did set up our family on Amazon. So, I do not know if it’s
accessible to set up. About a year ago, I tried it by logging into my account
via kindle and I could not figure out how to access the Family library, only my
purchases. So, before you try to set up Amazon family, do some check
My wife can access the books I buy on Kindle. I'll check with her if she is
logged in with her own account or not. I don't remember how I set that up the
first time. But, she is set up with Family sharing and the Kindle app allows
family sharing, so that might be it.
