I updated to iOS 14.2 a bit ago, but I hadn't looked at the photos app until
your email. I don't know what is happening for you, but my photos do have the
dates on them. The new descriptions are pretty good. I am looking at my photos
using the library tab in the app. I looked at the

Try using the rotor actions when on a photo in Photos. I think you
will find some of the same information that was spoken before. I don't
recall if it is rotor actions or the new "more content" item, but one
of those will speak more info when swiping up or down through. Good

will work with you to find the answer. They can even connect to your
phone remotely and see what you are experiencing. They are open 24/7,
so you've got nothing to lose.

I have the camera set to While Using as you describe Richard.
I have tried every configuration I can think of but to no avail.
If I use EXIF Editor, Seeing AI and TapTapSee to browse photos I get the
information I would expect. But the Photos app is a complete disaster on my
iPhone XR.
