The Be My Eyes will probably be the best idea. You should check the thermostat's website for information on resetting the thermostat to factory defaults. When I did it, it was quite a process! The top part of the thermostat snapped off and the reset switch was in there on the top left corner

The reset button is behind a removable top panel on the thermostat unit. It's a very small round button that is extremely difficult to find. When you remove that panel that covers the top half of the unit, you have to run your finger along the ridge that is exposed. The only way I can reach it
