Hello, the time speaking more consistently when the phone is unlocked is a
feature of iOS 15. There is another thread on hourly chime apps where Richard
recommended the Talking Time app, so you might consider it.
For me that might be nice to have but not required at this point.

comparing to Cqoo Clock I paid for. Cqoo Clock crashed after three
or four days while BOC is working flawlessly for more than a year

Hi! Folks: I am wondering if anybody knows if the voice over clock app has a
price tag on it, or is it free. Please let me know. I was thinking about
checking out something like that for myself.
Thanks much in advance.

Hi Conrad,
I can definitely recommend Voiceover Clock, which is on the app store. I
personally have mine set to go off every 15 minutes but on the hour will also
work just fine.

There is also an app called chime which does the same thing. It just announces
the time on the hour, or you can have it announce it on the quarter hour and
half hour also.
Have a great day!

I really need something that I can check when I choose, without my having to
lose focus on the screen, if I were typing for example.

Hello,
I am using the free app calls "chime". It has the option to announce the
time in every 15minutes, 30 minutes on the hour or before the hour. It
works even the phone is lock. I like it.
