I don't know if this works for Audiobooks, because I don't use Voice Dream for
those. But for textbooks, when a book is playing, flick up
to move by a
percentage which is determined by the VDR app.

set.

After you select the time interval within the navigation button, go back to
the play button and flick up or down with one finger same as you would with
any other picker item and you'll jump forward or back.
Those next or previous buttons are for chapter or bookmark jumping.

Also, if you want to jump ahead further you can adjust the percent slider and
it jumps by increments of 5%. For finer adjustments double-tap the percent
slider and you can indicate with the numeric keypad that pops up the exact
percent you want to jump to.
