As someone already said, this is an issue. It is happening for me too. Reading
in Braille is quite interesting. It is a little easier than reading with speech
at this point, but it is definitely an issue.

Apparently you’re not the only one. I realise this is no help but someone on a
list reported it to Amazon as it started after an update, so if you can find
where to report it, it might be a worthwhile thing to do.
