did you already update to version 2.0 of the ColorVisor? In this new version,
the verbosity of the color announcement has been reduced by default and is
configurable.
Apart from that, the ColorVisor measures continiously.
Just let me know, if you have further problems.

Figure that iOS 6 is most likely the last update for the iPhone 3GS. That
hardware just doesn't have what is necessary to handle anything beyond where
iOS 6 is. That hardware is being pushed to the limits.

I don't know anything about color visor, but I'd say that iOS 6 sluggishness
on the 3G S is due to the limited ram and processing power that phone has,
compared to the newer models. Someone in the family has a 3G S as well, and
I've used VoiceOver on it, and it's just as sluggish as you
