Codex won’t remove drm from ibooks. This is why you have to buy the same book
in the Kindle edition.

Well, I believe every single book available on Amazon, iTunes and
other services can be found DRM free via torrents and other P2P
sharing possibilities. Sometimes is easier to do the trick that way
than trying to remove DRM from legally purchased books. If you

It could be worth a try. I don't think Codex is just restricted to stripping
DRM only from Kindle books. I'm not totally certain, though.

called Codex by James Scholes that can convert Kindle to ePub that works great
with Voice Dream Reader.
