hi, settings, notifications, email. you want to most likely put it to no
notification. email will still update, but you will only hear a little
tone, no text. alternatively, it's the GMAIL app, in which case, you
could always turn off notifications for that app entirely.

I have a couple suggestions.
1. Go into settings, notifications, and turn off mail notifications.
2. Delete the Gmail app if you are not using it.
That should clear up the issue if I understood correctly.

Hi,
I think what has happened is that notifications have got turned on for either
the native mail app or the gMail app. Go into settings and notifications and
turn it off. That should stop VO from reading your emails.

I am having a problem since yesterday.
I have IPhone5S with IOS10.3.
Mostly, I retreave my emails via my PC but sometimes use the native client
of IPhone email too. I also have the app for Gmail which I have never used.
Yesterday, I asked Serie to launch email and she started Gmail.
