I well understand what you are talking about.
First of all, this is NOT new. Issues like this still exist;
not all have been resolved. There will always be loopholes!
Look at junk emails/spams that pop up onPCs! Therefore,
iMessages are not alone.
Part of this problem is due to
IMHO, this issue is a bit more complicated than just legislatures being
to lazy to act. How much control of our internet and our text messaging
to we want to give to our government? Freedom and lack of legislation is
what has made the internet and the world wide web what is it today.
