I think the original question here was about setting up the account
itself. As I recall, you can't do that from within the app, it has to
be done on a PC. That was years ago and I remember that it was a bit
tricky but worked best with NVDA. As for using the number, the Google

You can go to the Google voice website and set everything up there. I have the
best luck using NVDA or window eyes. Once your account is set up, put in your
Gmail username and password into GV connect and it will work.
