Well, that's not good have Jim drive you to Best Buy and see if they can pull 
it off for you. And have them wipe it out they should do this for free. I will

Is it secure SMTP and if so what server address and what port number,
Is it using ssl or tls 
A lot of questions you really need to ask the company you have the mail account

it is the most accessible system I have ever used.  No scanning of codes, just

Experience with Bluetooth enabled web browsers?

There are two Bluetooth BLE web browsers that I know of in the App Store. They 
enable you to connect with Bluetooth devices using them with your iPhone. One 
is called blue phi BLUEFY and the other is called web BLE all one word. Has 
anybody had any experience with either of these with regard to Accessibility.

A couple of things.

First, when it says the maximum number is 5, this is a button, and if you 
double tap this, you land in an edit field where you can change the number to 
what you wish. I changed it to 20, and I did not get any errors.
Unfortunately I do not have any groups set up for texting, so I could not 
actually finalize the process and send the message.

second, there was just an update for the app in the app store, and there is a 
new feature available. For texting, you now have a choice, you can use ABC 
Groups to send your message, or you can use the message app. This choice is 
located on the screen where the maximum number is, and it is right before the 
number. Now for group emails, you can use ABC Groups to send the email, or you 
can use the mail app.

I've never tried a second handoff. When I have answered a call on the watch and 
transferred it to my phone, the icon was way in the upper left kind of between 
the cell signal and the first app is the best way I can describe that.

I transferred from an SE first generation to the new SE with that method and it 
worked well. I'd update the SE before trying the transfer. I set mine to not

I didn't have Bluetooth on, which will work in my hearing aids. I could hear 
VoiceOver just fine and Siri, but not a caller or someone I called.

Were you using a Bluetooth headset? Could be that occasionally when it's on it 
doesn't pick up sound from the phone? (I've seen that happen.) The thing to do

Have Jim pull the case off and see if there is anything resulting in the water

I just got a new iPhone SE 128 GB. My old phone is a 6S 64GB.

Has anyone used the transfer data feature to get your data from a 6S to 
an SE? The 6S runs IOS 14 while the new phone still has iOS13. Is this a 
problem? Any weirdness I should know about? And, if your screen auto 
locks on the new phone, is data still transferring?

The calendar has now turned to 2021 and Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has outlined 
his expectations for some new Apple devices this

As for the augmented reality device, Apple is rumored to be working on both an 
AR/VR headset and AR-only glasses. In an internal meeting last year, Apple 
executive Mike Rockwell said the headset may be announced in 2021 and released 
in 2022, while the glasses are expected in 2023 at the earliest, according to 
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Taiwanese publication DigiTimes this week reported that a so-called "Apple 
Glasses" prototype is about to enter the "second phase" of

We have discovered the inadequacy of our Wi-Fi network at home. We have 
excellent reception in the room where the modem and router are located, but 
abysmal reception elsewhere. 

I will need to replace my current router, and I’m thinking about a mesh system.

my current router is not compatible with a mesh system.

I would appreciate learning of recommendations for an accessible mesh network 
in a home setting.

Hi,
This is an old message from last Summer but I’m not sure I ever answered it.

If you are not getting good results with the Fopydo scanning stand, make sure 
the camera is about a half inch in front of the little notch inside the larger 
notch on the top.
And, make sure the paper is even with the back of the stand where the legs 
connect.

I bought this stand, but somehow I am not able to use it efficiently. I get 
better scanning results just by holding the phone and snapping photos of the 
pages I need scanned. I am not sure what the problem is, may be the stand is 
blocking the flash from lighting over the page correctly, or may be I need some 
extra lighting.
Having had a lot of experience with it, what do you recommend for the most

I saw something last evening that i have never seen before.  I suspect it was a 
scam thing but thought I should ask if anyone else has seen this or not.



I was looking at a news app I use for our local news and weather.  While doing 
so something popped up that said 3 viruses had been detected by apple and I 
should install the below app to clean my phone.  I looked at the rest of the 
screen and then went to the app store and couldn't find that app in the store.



I think this was a scam but have any of you seen anything like this before?  Is 
it legit?



Now that it is gone if it is legit how do I now find the right app to clean my 
phone?  I looked in the app store and every AV app I could find just talked 
about wifi and external sources not cleaning my phone itself.

Also, I'm sure apple accessibility will help you with setting up your apple 
device.  When I got my iPhone 8, I accidentally locked myself out of my iPhone 
because I had trouble entering my passcode.  When I called apple accessibility, 
I was told that I would need to reinstall my iPhone's operating system or 
something.  This guy, helped me get on iTunes and walked me through the steps.  
Once that was done, someone else helped me set up my iPhone.

A weird thing happened to me this morning. I could not hear
people on my phone, whether I called them or they called me,
so I shut down, came back up and VOILA, phone working. What
do you supposed caused that? Battery level is in the 70's.

How do you turn on voice over on an iPhone without the home button?  I
know I can just hit the home button 3 times on my iPhone 8.  Thanks.
Also, I'm sure apple accessibility will help you with setting up your
apple device.  When I got my iPhone 8, I accidentally locked myself
out of my iPhone because I had trouble entering my passcode.  When I
called apple accessibility, I was told that I would need to reinstall
my iPhone's operating system or something.  This guy, helped me get on
iTunes and walked me through the steps.  Once that was done, someone
else helped me set up my iPhone.

It still will not read the pdf I mentioned before although other apps like 
Envision AI have no problem with it.  Strange.  VoiceDream and Prizmo work fine 
too.

then it probably was a scam thing.

virus alert on my SE 2020

I saw something last evening that i have
never seen before.  I suspect it was a scam thing but thought I
should ask if anyone else has seen this or not.

  
I was looking at a news app I use for our
local news and weather.  While doing so something popped up that
said 3 viruses had been detected by apple and I should install
the below app to clean my phone.  I looked at the rest of the
screen and then went to the app store and couldn't find that app
in the store.

How do you turn on voice over on an iPhone without the home button?  I
know I can just hit the home button 3 times on my iPhone 8.  Thanks.
Also, I'm sure apple accessibility will help you with setting up your
apple device.  When I got my iPhone 8, I accidentally locked myself
out of my iPhone because I had trouble entering my passcode.  When I
called apple accessibility, I was told that I would need to reinstall
my iPhone's operating system or something.  This guy, helped me get on
iTunes and walked me through the steps.  Once that was done, someone
else helped me set up my iPhone.
