The first actual button, says if you want every quarter hour, etc. Double tapping that will toggle through the options there. Flick right once and you hear the word "From." Flick right again and it will say something like 6 AM. You can double tap on that to increase by one hour, or flick right

personally, I like timeChime. as one can turn it on and off as required easily, and rather than just every hour, you can select every 15, 30, or 60mins for the alerts. also you can select different sounds for the 15/45, 30, and hourly alerts, meaning that if you can't always take the phone out
