recise, have a look in the libsrc/Wi/clrdf23.sql script.

Hi Patrick,
Thanks, with this info the improved .plist does its job.
And with the KeepAlive key launchd restarts virtuoso on process terminations.
Now the:
$ sudo launchctl stop com.openlinksw.vos # stops (and auto restarts) the server
$ sudo launchctl remove com.openlinksw.vos # stops the server
forked/daemonized parameter?

Hi list,
Correctly starting Virtuoso on Mac OS X with launchd (a .plist) fails.
Virtuoso-t starts, that is not the problem.
But the process cannot be controlled any further with launchctl commands.
When looking further into launchctl, you see that the originally start process
died, and a new o

Geospatial support is one of the licensed Virtuoso features.

Hi Patrick,
With this patch (hopefully correct) applied:
---
$ cd src/virtuoso-opensource-6.0.0
$ sudo make clean
$ sudo make distclean
$ patch -p 0 -i patch_fd.diff

how should the OS or virtuoso or the OS be reconfigured?

Hi list,
For the purpose of building a MacPorts [1] port file,
I was wondering which of the virtuoso dependencies [2] are:
a. run-time (needed during run-time but not to compile it);
b. build-time (needed when software is compiled, but not needed at all once the
software is compiled and instal

Beside that parallel building is broken on VOS 5.0.10.
Another finding is that the 'make check' test runs 9.7% slower on VOS
5.0.10 than it did on VOS 5.0.9:
5.0.9 : 2941 seconds
5.0.10: 3227 seconds
Environment:
Mac OS X 10.5.6
Xcode 3.1.2
Code2Duo processor
Build settings:
CC=gcc-4.2
For your information.
Building VOS 5.0.9 with 'make -j2' succeeded in december 2008.
Now trying with VOS 5.0.10.
After some failed VOS 5.0.10 build experiments, executed were:
$ make clean
$ CFLAGS="-O -m64 -mmacosx-version-min=10.5"
$ export CFLAGS
$ ./configure && make -j2 && sudo make install
Are there full scale TCP-H benchmarks (not the reduced 1% datasets)
available for Virtuoso?
Would be nice if there is a comparison for Mysql and Postgresql on
identical hardware.

After Postgresql, the Mysql database server has support for spatial

Information about spatial features within Virtuoso could not be found

Hi Patrick,
Without the -w flag and with help of your example (a little adapted to
fit the default opensource install locations),
I got virtuoso-t running as a daemon.

Any suggestions on how to launch virtuoso-t as a launchd daemon are
