I've installed RealVNC 4.04 beta on a redhat 7.3 i86 system, and enabled the vnc module for XF86. The good news is that it works great. I especially like the auto-negotiation feature based on bandwidth. I'm having trouble with seeing openGL windows updating, however. OpenGL applications work fine

I've ever tried to start at boot VNC on Mandrake 9.1. I'm not a Guru so it's really hard when you want to setup your own listen port. The trick is to setup webmin that start at boot by default when you are installing Mandrake. You make a Custom command in the "other" panel under Webmin like this

Try using a 2 step approach using xclipboard. I believe the problem you are having is the same as I have had with Solaris. Cut and past can work through cutbuffers or selections and most applications (including Xvnc) use one or the other. As memory serves, Xvnc uses the older cutbuffers that wor
