Bob-you probably right-maybe sth is wrong with my mainboard, but at this
time it seems I'll have to live with that-to all the answer is yes except
windows firewall-I have it curently runnining but while it was disabled

I run a vncviewer in listen mode on machine A and VNC server on machine B, and
use vncconfig on B to connect A.
So if I run vncconfig twice, I will see two identical VNC window on A.
I want to detect that whether there is already a connection between them. If
there is already a conne

This would be a security breach.
If you
really need this, setup a vnc server in your front end if you like or allow
vnc connection to pass your firewall. From there you can vnc your workstat
You can store connection settings including password in the config file.
Look at save tab in configuration dialog.
