Hello Rick,
did you try the option "-geometry" of the vnc server?
With this option you can specify a screen resolution for
the remote server. I think default is 1024x768. Perhaps
you try a higher one.
Greetings,
Felix

I tested the 4.1.1 personal edition today to and there it works just fine.
Are there any options of the vncserver that could lead to such problems?

Felix

I tried the 4.1.9 today without positive results.
The nedit theme is still in red and green.

This was the first I was thinking of.
The colour level is at depth 24. But I tested
other configurations as
it
worked well with the old version.

Felix,
Is your VNC desktop depth 16, by any chance?

Hello all,
a few days ago I had a problem with cut/copy/paste and I found out
that 'vncconfig' is stopped after the window manager (gnome-session)
starts.
My vncserver is started with the option "-query localhost" so that users
that connect to the server see a login screen (GDM). Until this time
vncconfig executable do not allow the relevant user to run it.

Hello all,
a few days ago, i opened a new case with a cut&paste problem between
vncviewer and the machine it is running.
The server and viewer are the new enterprise editions from RealVNC (4.1.8).
Running on different systems (WinXP, Solaris, Redhat).
I got cut&paste working by starting vncconfig
