When running multiple vncservers for different functions for the same
person, as I do, you can use the -display option to note what the intended
function of each session is. For example;
I support many projects. I may do the following;
vncserver -display "Project Sammy"
vncserve
I don't use display 0. I rlogin into the linux machine and type vncserver.
This starts display :1.0. Then I connect to machine:1.0 from the windows
client.

When trying to run emacs I get the following message without emacs running
No fonts match `-dt-interface
user-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*'
When starting an xterm I get the following with an xterm starting;
unable to open font "-dt-interface
