However, some remote connections, really seem to slow the local viewers
updates down. Is there anyway to tune it so that the local viewer is
always quick and fast, regardless of how many and what quality the truly
"remote" connections are?

ced that it and realvnc4b4 seem to fight often (i.e. one or the
other kills the other). I've used it no problem for connecting to the
debian real vnc 3.x servers. It's quite nice.

100 and 75 dpi fonts in its font path. It seems that Xvnc
wouldn't really have a notion of dpi...
2) screensaver. is there an screensaver inside Xvnc server. an xset q
from within a vnc session does show values, are they active though?

Is there boilerplate template for what a "modern" vnc.conf session looks
like in the font section to get a nice looking fonts under linux? What
would be really nice is if as I made changes to the fonts of the normal
display X server, it was refelected in the VNC sessions as well.

but then we discovered the beta version of server and viewer on Real's
site, and this solved all of our little issues. What is the status of
this beta? Is it nearing "production"? Has anyone debian-ized it?
