IF there is no reply on a `telnet machine 5800`, then the vncserver is not
running (at least not at the default port 5800).
If you are sure it is running, check at what displaynumber. Add the display
number to the portn

the VNC server on a large number of Windows 2000 machines. Connecting from a
client machine works for 95% of the servers. But I am not able to connect to
a few machines. I am not sure, what did I do wrong with these few m
