A few things:
- when on your lan, always use the lan's internal adresses, but I think you know that.
- try viewing home desk 1 from home desk 2 and vice-versa
- if the above does work, it's something with the wireless stuff. Have you done things
to secure the wireless that might interfere here?

Looks like almost everything is in place. It is not enough to just open up
port 5900-5909. What about port forwarding on the Linksys
Your PC's can all be set to run their servers on port 5900 but you need to
configure Linksys to forward inbound ports on the public address to VNC
ports on you
