I am trying to connect to another computer in my network with 2 routers. The
wireless router i am unable to access so everything goes through the other
router (a D-Link DI604). I have a wired computer connected to these routers
with the VNC server. I have my computer connected through the wireless.

Hi Stewart,
I click "options" on the VNC authentication page but can't find "Prompt
local user to accept connections".
By the way, I am using VNC version 3.7.7.
It seems that VNC server is not running once the Win2k PC is logged out.

I'm having a connection problem with Fedora Core 2 (FC2) and VNC,
version 4.0-5.
I can establish a connection to all the FC2 boxes on my intranet, but
the displayed content is just a gray blank window with a Terminal in the

I am running VNC 3.3.7 in Win 2000 5.00.2195 SP3. When I try to VNC from
either PC or workstation to that PC, it disconnects right after the connection
is established. I have tried VNC 3.3.6 and 3.3.3. It gives me the same result.
There is one way I can VNC to that PC. Logoff the user in that PC a
I'm new to VNC but I do understand its fucntionality. I tested the VNC viewer (windows
