This suggestion makes excellent sense, and is almost
doable in some form ... but ironically, the presently
applicable veto power would probably keep it from
becoming reality in the near term.
It should still be put to vote every few years or so.

Vorts,
I consider pumping energy to be the means of bringing
moisture to the desert. Seawater could be pumped to
artificial ponds that would evaporate the water to produce
clouds, then rain. Shallow ponds would dry out quickly so
the evaporation would follow the pumping rate. Would

There is a most enjoyable new non-fiction book out now
by Daniel Levitin: "This is Your Brain on Music". This
"obsessive" and seminal work goes beyond pop-sci into
the cutting-edge of physics and neuro-biology; and
there are a few "free energy" implications as well.

I just purchased a 2007 Monti Carlo. It is getting exceptional gas mileage.
It is rated 31 highway, which is a lot for a larger car. I have found out
the valves in the engine are electronically controlled. Does anyone know how
this system works?

The lecture is back on YouTube, broken into several segments. All
segments are available here:

I think the copy now on Google will stay there, although it is
reportedly unreliable and hard to play.

Howdy Vorts,
The Dime Box Saloon UFO polka band and marching society has a new song..
"use discernment".
It is intended to reduce the number of beer drinkers accidently stumbling
