Regarding Pebble Bed reactors
American utilities don't want Pebble Bed reactors. These reactors have
low power density. Utilities wsnt high power densities and a reactor that
is as big are possible(buzzword: economies of scale). Also Pebble Bed
reactors produce radioactive silver that make main

India is building breeder reactors, too. Sputnik says Russia is planning for 3

Yes, Bob isn't it funny; we have two large organizations both concerned
with our best. They just end up with different opinion about issues that
has a definite answer. Now we need a committee to find out what is the
truth. That will be a secret committee (it is about radioactive material).

Chris,
Have a look at Modular Moving Pebble Bed reactors. They are fail safe, neither
large not particularly expensive.
I read the Chinese were planning build units ~100

waste concerns but also because of the politics
It entrenches. Big, expensive centralized, state affiliated power instead of
the opposite.
I also believe that Saudi Arabia is one of the top 3 obstacles to world peace
Chris Zell,

back nuclear power."
If more traditional nuclear is safe and cheaper than LENR I would be all
for it. We should have built a bunch of LFTRs 20 years ago. Even
