Host doesn't have to be RedHat, only kernel is based on redhat kernel
instead of generic linux kernel. You can compile redhat kernel on debian
or any other linux. Not sure how it is on debian, but on gentoo you can
select among kernels to use - and one of them is redhat kernel. The
