I was under the impression that with Vyatta no ports would be blocked unless
specific action was taken to block them. Is this the case?
One of my customers requires port 5001 for an application. How do I open ports?

I just installed vyatta to the hard drive. I accepted the default
configurations in all cases and when it finished I rebooted. Everything
seems to load then I am presented with Welcome to Vyatta - vyatta tty1
and the login prompt.
