InDesign Installation Problems - what's the latest

Last night tried to install Indesign 2 using installer on CD - silly me! Then tried "fixed" installer as per postings back in May. Still didn't work. Seems "fixed" installer doesn't work with 10.1.4 which I am running. Is there any further development on this front that anyone knows of?

Hi All, Before i start making some heady decisions ( like $$'s ) is there by chance anybody who is operating OS9.1 and who has managed to get older version of Excel ( V 6.0.1 ) working satisfactorily. Mine works fine on OS8.6 but can only load to OS9.1 with a work around, and then does not run
