I was attracted to the Sony mini CD cameras because our local primary school has a couple of Sony cameras which take floppy disks. These have been used by the kids and teachers for several years with no problems. They are still available new but memory capacity of the floppies is a restriction.

Mark I bought a Canon MV530i for school use mid 2002. It is beautiful. Simple and compact and easy for the kids to use - even foolproof for teachers. We've had no problems whatsoever, and find picture quality great. I haven't compared that quality side by side with others. Research and advice
