I have a user here with a curious problem (X 10.3.9 / QT 7.0.1) - it
seems whenever a browser (Safari / IE) uses Quicktime to play a sound
file it plays for 3 seconds and stops.
Any ideas?
Some audio streams work perfectly yet some stand alone files fail.

Our old Iomega Zip 650 CD burner has a driver CD for OS8-9 only and
the Iomega site has no updates for OSX.
Peter Cutrona suggested 'PatchBurn'.
I downloaded PatchBurn and started to install it on the iMac just to
be told that 10.2.8 can handle the CD burne
For what it's worth I support the earlier comments about Epson
printers on Mac. I have had three, an SPEX(A3), an SP720 and an
SP1290Silver(A3+) as well as a Perfection 3200 Photo scanner and all
four devices have worked/are still working hard for some years and
performed flawlessly.

the annoying habit of refusing to print anything if one of the ink
cartridges is empty, even if that colour isn't required for the job.

- scanning
- printing
- maybe fax too
All these things are pretty low volume stuff. We also have a laser
printer for most printing needs.
