Janis No surprises here really. The problem is almost certainly the "Ethernet coupler". I suggest removing it and plugging the Airport back into the single cable. If it works without the "coupler" then that's the problem. If you need to move the Airport further from your ADSL/Cable modem then I

No sound with PPS files ??

Hi folks, It is not often that someone emails me a Powerpoint file with sound involved, but when I do receive one I can never get any sound. Is there something somewhere that needs initiating to turn sound on for Powerpoint, or is this a common glitch with powerpoint when used on a Mac ?

divx.avi to DVD software ?

I'm not too cluey about video files etc, but if I wanted to download a divx.avi file, and then burn to DVD which I could watch on a standard Panasonic DVD Region 4 only player, is there any Mac freeware that will allow me to do that on a 17" G4 Powerbook running OS X 10.4.8 ? Thanks, Steven
