Hi Rod. There is really no noticeable (visual) difference between a high res JPEG, or a TIFF, if saved at 300 PPI and both the same size. You would need a magnifying glass to see any difference, anyway an A4 hig res JPEG at 300 PPI can interpolate up to 2 times before you see a difference.
