Back to iiNet. This (new) support guy knows about the problem. It has been
reported a few days ago and the upstream provider is working on it with an
expected fix time of about a day or so. Of course I believe that! :-)
All we have to do is be patient.

I have several people with iiNet to whom I regularly email and
frequently their mail bounces back with a variety of error messages.
A resend the next day usually succeeds. Probably doesn't relate to
the MacFixit issue but worth noting perhaps.

Here's a weird one.
I put in an event into iCal. Name it and even put an alarm on it.
Within 10 seconds the event disappears. You can even see it
happening. Only that event. (I haven't deselected the calendar).

Any tips on how to resurrect an Epson Stylus CX3500 that puts very little
ink on to the paper, despite having new cartridges and had the head cleaned
