Can anyone please tell me whether there is any once-off freeware software that will convert a .bin movie file to a format compatible with Apple TV (eg. h.264 or mpeg)? Toast does not seem to do the job - Toast just gives me an option to burn the .bin file to DVD, which I don't really want to do.

Hey Rod Hmm - if you changed the size in QT and saved it, then tried again in IDVD, and got the same result, I would think it's either that you've got a 4:3 project selected in IDVD or, like you say, it's a corruption or bug. Can you try using a completely different template, making sure it'
